From the invasion of privacy effecting residential students to violating Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations for flying heights, the exposures stemming from UAS usage are immense. In 2016 alone there were over 1,800 reports of UAS near misses with commercial aircraft. Given these potential exposures it is important that you have an all-encompassing UAS-specific insurance policy to protect your college or university.

Atlanta Life’s Aviation broking team has been in front of the emerging UAS market from the onset. We quickly identified the need for an industry leading UAS insurance product that would provide less restrictive policy wording, make the cost more competitive and create a seamless process for policy placement for all parties involved.
