For more than 30 years, DeLois Babiker has successfully provided senior leadership to technology and management initiatives in government and private industry, solving complex business and IT problems head-on. She founded Intellectual Concepts, building it from the ground up, and oversees the corporate strategy, alliances, client relationships, and partnerships that make IC successful. As CEO for Intellectual Concepts, she is a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10000 Small Business program. She has successfully directed IC’s strategic planning, business development, resources, quality assurance and customer satisfaction. Before founding IC, Ms Babiker served as Chief Information Officer at Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation, where she successfully led the corporation’s launch into emerging technologies to improve internal operations and communications at corporate headquarters and 12 community-based decentralized offices. She also served as the Director of Information Systems at the American Red Cross (ARC), providing strategic direction for the global systems that support the 1200 national and international ARC chapters.
Ms. Babiker began her career as a Project Manager with the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (commonly known as Freddie Mac). Ms. Babiker is an active participant with the Women in Defense, Women in Transportation, Conference of Minority Transportation Officials, American Public Transportation Association, Greater Women’s Business Council, and Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council. In 2015, she successfully completed the Goldman Sachs 10K Small Business and Georgia Mentor Protégé Connection programs. In her spare time, Ms. Babiker enjoys supporting youth robotic competition, mentoring aspiring leaders bowling and spending time with her family especially her grandson Kingsley. Ms. Babiker resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband, Albert, daughter Essence and son Amir.
Ms. Babiker holds a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems and a Bachelor of Science degree in Decision Sciences from George Mason University; and a Chief Information Officer Certificate from Carnegie Mellon University.
